He began his career as a wealth manager at an advisory firm, developing a strong foundation in client relationships and portfolio construction, before serving as a portfolio manager for a boutique investment fund and later leading the Capital Markets division for a business lending firm. His expertise spans structuring and executing private capital offerings—including debt and equity placements—and managing investor relations within the oil and gas sector. A career highlight includes raising over $100 million in capital.

Cameron is deeply motivated by the impact of his work: raising capital that directly funds business expansion, enables companies to scale, creates jobs, and supports the families behind that growth while advancing American energy production. His ambition at Phoenix Energy is clear—to build and lead a capital markets operation that raises billions of dollars in deployable capital.

Originally from Colorado Springs, Cameron grew up skiing and mountain biking and maintains an active lifestyle outdoors year-round. He enjoys skiing, rock climbing, and recreational sports, and brings the same competitive focus he has on the mountain to his work building Phoenix Energy’s capital markets platform.
