Hugo Reynoso serves as a GIS Analyst on the Technology team at Phoenix Energy, bringing two years of industry experience to his role. Hugo holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and has built his career across a range of technical environments, including positions as an Engineering Technician with WSP Global, an Engineer-in-Training with Freese and Nichols, and an Estimator with THB Construction. His background spans GIS suite management, large dataset organization, and the development of tools designed to streamline and accelerate GIS workflows.

Hugo is drawn to the problem-solving side of his work — digging into technical challenges and building systems that make processes more efficient over time. His goal is to develop GIS infrastructure at Phoenix Energy, and he appreciates the collaborative environment he’s found on the team.

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Hugo is close with his family and values the relationships he builds both in and outside of work. Outside the office, he channels his creativity into homebrewing mead and enjoys unwinding with tabletop games. He also takes pride in having supported a friend’s business through its early and uncertain startup days.
