Alex Windes is an Operations Accountant in the Operating department at Phoenix Energy, bringing 10 years of experience in high-volume JIB and accounts payable roles. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Metro State University and has built deep expertise in joint interest billing, owner distribution accuracy, AP processing, and vendor relations. A standout achievement in his career is designing and implementing multiple training programs related to JIB and invoice processing, reflecting his commitment to building efficient, scalable systems.

Known for his process-minded thinking and strong work ethic, Alex is driven by the challenge of solving problems and designing workflows that improve operational performance. He hopes to continue growing into leadership roles within accounting and operations, expanding his knowledge of systems and process improvements along the way.

Originally from Littleton, Colorado, Alex is an enthusiastic husband and father. Outside of work, he trains in Muay Thai, enjoys cooking, and serves as a mentor and coach in the mental health and wellness community. He also co-founded a USDA-inspected charcuterie company in Denver in 2014.
