Ashleigh Borud is the Surface Land Manager on Phoenix Energy’s Land team, bringing 16 years of industry experience to her role. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and spent 8 years at Chord Energy, beginning in Supply Chain before transitioning to Land, where she worked for 7 years. Her land experience also includes work in West Texas, giving her a well-rounded perspective across regions and operations.

Ashleigh is highly detail-oriented and known for ensuring compliance with agreements while managing and coordinating complex projects. She works closely with internal teams, landowners, and local communities to support successful outcomes.

A Crosby, North Dakota native, Ashleigh and her husband Andy—who also works in the oil and gas industry—are raising five boys together. She takes great pride in her family and community involvement. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending summers at the lake, and coaching hockey. At Phoenix Energy, Ashleigh aims to add value through strong organization, thoughtful planning, and partnership-driven development support.
